Stay Here: San Diego ๐ฎ
San Diego is a particularly special city for Ophelia and Michelle! Many memories were made here when Michelle used to come visit Ophelia in school (we've shared our fav recs at the end of this newsletter). Ophelia tries to visit as often as possible to see her college friends and we could honestly both see ourselves living here one day. For now, San Diego makes for the perfect mini-vacation spot and we both adore this sunny city by the sea!

This gorgeous secluded casita in Encinitas with a pool looks amazing ($249/night, sleeps 2).
We're heart-eyeing the tile on the fireplace in this Claremont Mesa home ($174/night, sleeps 6).
Love the light in this studio apartment in Little Italy ($110/night, sleeps 2).
This home with a hot tub in Oceanside looks amazing ($307/night, sleeps 8).
We love the rooftop deck and wooden beams in this Linda Vista home ($128/night, sleeps 3).
Do this
Ophelia's college friend Rachel reminded her that no SD trip is complete without watching the sunset at Torrey Pines Gliderport. The Gliderport is right across the street from the UCSD campus and was a favorite spot to de-stress during finals week. Salk Institute (part scientific research institute, part architectural landmark) is right next door!
Eat all the tacos! Our favorites are the adobada taco from Tacos el Gordo and the smoked fish taco from Oscars.
Ophelia's favorite dinner recommendation to give is Ironside Fish & Oyster, an amazing seafood spot with incredible interior design, right in the heart of Little Italy. Next up on our list is Campfire, a recommendation from Ophelia's college roomie, Kara.
Walk around La Jolla Cove and try Bobboi, a fantastic gelato spot. They have 5 stars on Yelp with 2k+ reviews and deservingly so!
We love stopping by Solo in Solana Beach to pick up gifts โ it's a furniture, gifts, and home goods store.
